Good extractor fan despite its limited ability to extract on runs exceeding 1.5 m. Automatic shutter behind fan rattles a bit with incoming wind. Minor annoyance with sound when it does. Apart from that minor problem, a good little fan. Easy to DIY install.

The first thing I noticed was that it was a 12w consumption rather than the 12V as described in the listing. That was ok because I need to use it in my caravan bathroom which has both 12v and 240v. I installed a fused Spur switch and ran the supply to the unit. When I connected the unit nothing. I checked the supply and the wiring diagram and all was good. I then “wiggled” the cables and there was a flash and the neutral terminal arced out and melted. Clearly there had been a short out of the terminals below on the PCB. I was fortunate to have installed it correctly on on a fused spur otherwise my cabling could have burnt out, taking my caravan / house with it.

Good quality. Easy to fit and good value. Only - the timer delay + - is inside the transformer so one has to open the transformer to change the timer. On the previous one the adjusting + - was on the oitside so was easier to change the delay time.
